Rock wool felt quilted on galvanized mesh
FERR series felts are made of bio-soluble mineral wool, deriving from mineral wool obtained from the merging and the spinning of natural rocks, quilted on wire mesh hexagonal with a triple twist.
Are obtained from certified fibers at low bio dispersion in conformity with Directive 97/69/EC. It does not need labeling as hazardous or carcinogenic.
FERR series felts are without thermosetting resins, completely fireproof, and have permanent features thanks to their fully inorganic origin. They are water resistant, dimensionally stable, rot-proof and resistant to mold and bacteria, insensitive to chemical agents.
They are suitable for covering large areas. Moreover, thanks to the open cell structure of the rock wool, they provide a high performance heat insulation, suitable for interventions with the aim to reduce the energy consumption in industrial plants, hospitals and ships.
